Second day of senior project went just as well as the first. I woke up at 8:00 and the first 5 hours of my day were spent researching the best diet to prepare for a half-marathon and researching and creating a training plan. The diet i created consisted of lean protein, healthy fats and fruits/veggies. After this, I spent about an hour running a few miles down my road and on the treadmill. I slowly am starting to feel my stamina go up as I run more and more. I think i may have felt runners high about a mile into my run today which was a very good feeling. Overall, It was a great day of senior project.
Day 11
Day 11 Practice marathon… Today I woke up and decided to do a sort of practice marathon, 7 miles in the morning and 7 miles in the afternoon with a break in between. Right after I woke up I got out of bed and made myself a bowl of greek yogurt and granola. After eating breakfast I went on a 7 mile run down and back up my road and it proved to be fairly easy because I hit a good runner high early on and went with the flow for the rest of the run and before I knew it, It was over.
